Logistics 1:
This module focuses on the story of building communities of practice by setting the stage, identifying the context for communities. It outlines the vital need to increase capabilities in both individuals and organizations the main reason for supporting communities in any organization.
We provide a brief overview of the field of knowledge management to situate community work in the bigger picture of developing a knowledge-driven organization. We introduce the concept of strategic capabilities in terms of the demands of the knowledge-based economy and show how Clarica has aligned a knowledge strategy with business imperatives, brand development, and culture.

Logistics 2:
Here, the process model is examined in greater detail. This section is divided into two parts to parallel the two phases of The Community Development Process Model.
Contents include: Phase 1: A look at preparing for the community’s implementation within three main steps: Define the Community, Establish the Components and Launch the Community
Phase 2: A look at how the community matures through a continuous cycle of development, evaluation, and growth with the support of a facilitator.
